This review session is up-to-date and relates to the spectrum of issues one might encounter on the exam. The last thing one wants is to be surprised by the unexpected. The main issue stressed in this preparation session is not so much knowing the material as it is understanding and applying the process in the appropriate manner. If you have questions about the exam, whether it be the process or the material, it would be advantageous to participate in this session. Preparation truly is more than half of the battle.
Dr. Nieman has been involved with the licensing exam since 1970 and conducted preparation sessions for many years at the ASLA Annual Meeting as well as LABASH, and in numerous states around the country. He is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Kentucky.
